Program Description

This CliftonStrengths Leadership Skills training program is developed using the Gallup CliftonStrengths platform. With over 21 million surveys in the database and the statistical acumen of the Gallup organization, this well validated, strengths based approach to leadership skills development will empower individuals across the entire organization. Data from over 160 countries and 90% of Fortune 500 companies support this strengths based approach to leadership skills development and is aimed at long term, sustainable and actionable improvements.

This six week* intensive CliftonStrengths based Leadership Skills program teaches participants at all levels how to understand and apply the 34 CliftonStrengths talents to themselves and others using the “name it-claim it-aim it”, approach. Participants will be taught how to lead others using their unique talent stack. Participants will learn proven strategies for gaining buy-in for challenging decisions, understand how to apply a leadership roadmap and create a common language from which to address performance challenges. Participants will explore the optimal skills mix required for their bespoke leadership style. Participants will identify and practice techniques associated with the best leadership benchmarks and increase their organization’s engagement and productivity.

Program Goals and Learning Outcomes

1) Understand their individual CliftonStrengths top 5 strengths profile and how this influences their individual leadership approach.
2) Understand the full 34 CliftonStrengths talents and how they can be developed into strengths
3) Understand how to lead others using their top 5 CliftonStrengths profile.
4) Understand and demonstrate how to communicate effectively using CliftonStrengths as a common language.
5) Understand how to lead individuals using the leadership conversation roadmap.
6) Understand how to create well balanced strengths-based teams and how to lead strengths based teams using the leadership conversation roadmap.
7) Demonstrate how to create leadership partnerships.
8) Demonstrate how to lead a team with weaknesses.
